Monday, Nov. 24
1 Suspicious incident: A resident notified police that a male subject was observed peering into an apartment window in the 800 block of Benedetti Drive at 3:06 a.m.
2 Vehicle damage: A victim reported the door and window of a car was smashed with a retaining wall brick about 3:52 a.m. in the 3800 block of Junebreeze Lane.
3 Vehicle damage: A woman reported the rear window of her car was shattered most likely with a BB or pellet gun while parked in the driveway in the 2200 block of Mecan Drive between 4 p.m. Nov. 22 and 9:26 a.m.
4 Theft: Lawonna M. Berry, 44, Aurora; charged with theft/deception and warrant service at 12:29 p.m. in the 1300 block of Aurora Avenue.
5 Theft: A retail theft occurred at 10:51 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Jefferson Avenue.
Tuesday, Nov. 25
6 Damage to property: At an unspecified time, a resident reported damage to the fence separating her yard from the townhouse parking area in the 1000 block of East Benton Avenue. She indicated the damage occurred Nov. 22.
7 Theft: At an unspecified time, a man from the first block of North Brainard Street reported that his debit card had been stolen between Nov. 12 and 20, and an unknown person used it to remove about $2,500 from his checking account.
8 Vandalism: A resident reported at 10:07 a.m. that graffiti was sprayed on walls in the 100 block of Fourth Avenue on the train station platform and tunnel.
9 Burglary: A victim reported items were stolen from her apartment in the 500 block of North River Road between 9 a.m. Nov. 23 and 11:19 a.m.
10 Theft: A manager from a store in the 2700 block of Aurora Avenue reported a delayed theft at 12:10 p.m.
11 Hit and run: A man reported he was the victim of a hit and run after another vehicle struck the passenger side of his car in the 1500 block of North Aurora Road about 8:30 p.m. and then drove away.
12 Vehicle theft: A woman reported her car stolen from the 1300 block of Crab Apple Court between 4:30 and 8:40 p.m. The vehicle was later recovered.
